German-born Ghanaian defender King Manu returns to Fortuna Düsseldorf after FC Hansa Rostock loan sp

King Manu, a 21-year-old defender of Ghanaian heritage, has returned to his parent club. He spent the 2024-25 season on loan at FC Hansa Rostock in Germany's third tier.

Manu is now rejoining Fortuna Düsseldorf, a 2. Bundesliga side. He was released along with teammate Sima Suso after their loan deals ended.

The club announced this farewell on their official website. They stated that both players would return to their parent clubs after June 30, 2025.

Manu joined Hansa Rostock on loan from Fortuna Düsseldorf in summer 2024. During his time there, he made 18 competitive appearances for the team.

Sima Suso also joined on loan from Fortuna Düsseldorf in January 2025. The midfielder played 13 matches for the first team and one for the U23 team.

FC Hansa Rostock thanked both players for their contributions. They wished them success and good health in their future endeavors.

Manu's performance included participation in all competitions during the season. As a player of Ghanaian descent, he remains eligible to represent Ghana internationally.
