Ghana forward Bernard Tekpetey has won the Bulgarian Parva Liga title again. This is his fourth consecutive title win. The victory came after a 2-0 win against Cherno More in the Championship playoffs.
Tekpetey has faced challenges this season. He suffered an anterior cruciate ligament tear during a game against Qarabag. This injury occurred in the UEFA Champions League qualifying round.
Despite his injury, the Eagles remained focused on winning. They knew only a win would secure the league title ahead of Levski. Tekpetey, who previously played for Schalke O4 and SC Paderborn, has had great success in Bulgaria.
He has won nine trophies with Ludogorets over five seasons. The 27-year-old is now back in training but hasn't fully recovered yet. He will join the rest of the Ludogorets squad on Saturday at Huvepharma Arena.
They will celebrate their latest triumph before facing Levski. So far this season, Tekpetey has played in seven matches and scored two goals for Ludogorets.
