Asante Kotoko head coach Abdul Karim Zito will not underestimate Golden Kick.

Kotoko reached the final by defeating Berekum Chelsea 1-0 in the semifinals. This victory keeps their hopes alive for a first FA Cup title since 2017.

Golden Kick surprised many by advancing to the final. They won their semifinal against Attram De Visser with a score of 3-1.

Zito stated, "You can’t underrate any club until you get what you want." He added, "I don’t care whether they are in Division One or not." He is determined to win the cup and will fight hard against any opponent.

Before the final, Kotoko will play Dreams FC in the Ghana Premier League on May 18. Interestingly, Zito was Dreams FC's coach just two months ago. This adds intrigue to their upcoming match.
