Ghanaian FA Cup semifinals set as Premier League giants and Division One hopefuls eye final berth

This weekend, four clubs will compete for a spot in the 2024/25 MTN FA Cup final. The semifinals will take place at the T&A Stadium in Tarkwa. One Premier League team and one Division One League team will reach the final.

On Saturday, Attram De Visser faces Golden Kick in the first semifinal. Both teams are ambitious Division One clubs. Attram De Visser is led by former Ghana international Godwin Attram. He hopes to enhance his coaching reputation with this run. Golden Kick, coached by Fiifi Parker Hanson, aims to make history after defeating Premier League teams.

Sunday's match features Asante Kotoko against Berekum Chelsea. Kotoko seeks a domestic double this season. With the league title slipping away, the FA Cup is their best chance for silverware. Coach Karim Zito knows Berekum Chelsea poses a significant threat. Their coach, Samuel Boadu, has won the competition before.

The winners of these matches will meet at the University of Ghana Stadium for the final.
