Ghanaian defender Musah Nuhu leaving FC St Gallen 1879

Ghanaian defender Musah Nuhu is set to leave FC St. Gallen 1879. His contract expires at the end of this month.

Nuhu joined the team in 2019 on loan from West African Football Academy. He impressed during his loan and earned a permanent move. His strong performances led to contract extensions at Kybunpark. At one point, he attracted interest from Leicester City.

Since returning from a loan at Finnish side KuPS, Nuhu has struggled with injuries. He has played only 9 matches this season.

Nuhu was part of the Black Galaxies squad that won the WAFU Zone B Cup in 2017. He has also played for the Black Satellites and was in the Black Stars' provisional squad for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.
