Ghanaian forward Douglas Owusu grabs Serbian Super League promotion with FK Radnik Surdulica

Ghanaian forward Douglas Owusu helped FK Radnik Surdulica gain promotion to the Serbian Super Liga. They achieved this with one game left in the Prva Liga.

Their promotion was confirmed on Sunday. They won 2-1 against OFK Vrsac in the Championship Group.

Owusu, a talented left-footed right winger, played a key role in the victory. He started the match and played for 62 minutes.

He joined Radnik from Asekem FC, a lower-tier Ghanaian team, in 2024. Since then, he has been an important player for the club.

The 19-year-old has appeared in 32 league games. He scored two goals and provided six assists since his arrival.
