Ghanaian winger Kwame Poku in the sights of Sunderland

Sunderland, a newly promoted Premier League team, is interested in Kwame Poku. The 23-year-old winger is currently with Peterborough in League One.

Celtic and Rangers are also considering signing him this summer. Championship clubs Birmingham City and Sheffield United have shown interest too.

Sunderland Echo reports that Sunderland wants to strengthen their attack with Poku. They face tough competition for his signature in the transfer market.

Poku's contract expires in June. Teams interested in him may need to pay around 1.5 million euros.

Last season, he scored 12 goals and provided 11 assists in 31 games for Peterborough. He has one cap for Ghana since switching allegiance in 2021.
