Gold Stars’ Kobi, Nations FC’s Sanon headline April goalkeeper of the Month Contenders

The Ex-National Goalkeepers Union has revealed four nominees for April's Goalkeeper of the Month award. These players have shown impressive performances in the Premier League.

Emmanuel Kobi (Gold Stars FC):
Kobi had a strong month, leading his team to four wins in six matches. He achieved three consecutive clean sheets and allowed only four goals.

Daniel Afful (Accra Lions):
Afful conceded the most goals among the nominees, with six. However, he kept two clean sheets and helped Accra Lions win three out of five games.

Rabin Ousmane Sanon (Nations FC):
Sanon is on the shortlist for the first time. He conceded just one goal in five matches and secured four wins. His four clean sheets were the highest among all nominees, helping Nations FC top the league table.

Shaibu Rafique Issah (FC Samartex 1996):
Issah received his second consecutive nomination this month. He recorded three clean sheets in five games and played a crucial role in Samartex’s rise to seventh place. The team finished with three wins, one draw, and one loss while conceding four goals.
