Otto Addo, the coach of the Black Stars, has received his salary.
The Ministry of Sports and Recreation has settled all outstanding payments.
Addo and his staff had not been paid since October 2024.
They worked on important overseas missions during this time.
The team played six games in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
This campaign ran from September 5 to November 18, 2025.
Under Addo's leadership, Ghana won against Chad (5-0) and Madagascar (3-0) in March for the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers.
Now, Otto Addo will receive up to $420,000 in salary and benefits.
His assistant coaches, John Paintsil and Joseph Laumann, were also compensated.
Paintsil received $64,864 while Laumann got $75,000.
Goalkeepers trainer Abdul Fatawu Dauda was paid $19,459 after leaving Sudan to join Addo.
Francis Bugri Tampuli, the team coordinator, received $33,000 for April 2024 to March 2025.
These payments end a long period without compensation for coaches and staff.
