“He works so hard but it’s hard for people to see” - Thomas Partey hails Kai Havertz as Arsenal’s mo

Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey has praised Kai Havertz. He called him the most underrated player at the club. Partey highlighted Havertz's hard work and crucial impact on the team.

In an interview with Footy Culture, Partey said, "Kai Havertz works so hard, but people find it hard to see." He was asked which Arsenal player he believes is most underrated.

Havertz joined Arsenal from Chelsea in summer 2023. The deal was reportedly worth £65 million. Some supporters were skeptical about the move. However, manager Mikel Arteta and sporting director Edu Gaspar supported the decision.

After a slow start at Arsenal, Havertz found his rhythm in early 2024. He became a key figure for the Gunners. His link-up play, creativity, and defensive commitment were vital to Arsenal’s system.

Unfortunately, a recent injury sidelined Havertz during a critical time for the club. This coincided with a downturn in form for Arsenal. Their hopes for silverware ended this week after losing to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League.

Despite this disappointing end to the season, Partey's praise shows growing recognition of Havertz's importance within the squad.
