Heart of Oak's women's team Oaks FC secure National Women's League promotion

Oaks FC has qualified for the Women's Premier League. They achieved this by defeating Rootz Sistaz 4-1. This match was part of the GFA Regional Women's Championship.

The Hearts of Oak women's team leads Group A. They have won all four matches in the qualification league.

Fati Ibrahim scored first with a freekick in the eighth minute. Victoria Yeboah added another goal nine minutes later from an Amanda Mills cross. Mills then scored herself, making it 3-0 before halftime.

Despite missing several chances, Oaks Ladies led at halftime. The score remained 3-0 at that point.

In the second half, Rootz Sistaz improved and scored seven minutes in. However, Oaks FC quickly responded with a penalty from Esenam Sarafina.

The Phobians are comfortably at the top of their group. They have one game left and will qualify for next season's Women's Premier League in the Southern Zone.
