Hearts of Oak and FC Samartex to battle for goalkeeper Sabi Acquah Ferdinand

Ghanaian clubs Hearts of Oak and FC Samartex are competing for Sabi Acquah Ferdinand. He is the goalkeeper for Nsoatreman FC. The transfer window opens soon.

Sabi is 28 years old and very experienced in Ghana's top league. He joined Nsoatreman FC last year on a two-year deal. This season, he started strong but struggled to secure the starting position.

He faced competition from club captain Daniel Afadzwu. Sabi made eight appearances this season, including seven in the league. He also played one match in the CAF Confederations Cup qualifying round.

In those games, he conceded ten goals and kept two clean sheets. Football expert Shaban Mohammed reports that Sabi has contacted FC Samartex. He may undergo medical tests by the end of this week.

However, Hearts of Oak is also interested in him. They have been monitoring his situation closely. Sabi was once considered a top talent before WAFA's relegation after the 2021/22 season.
