Match officials for the Super Clash between Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko have been urged to be professional.
Sports Minister Kofi Adams highlighted the importance of fairness and discipline. This is especially crucial due to the intense rivalry between the two teams.
"We all know the history between these clubs," Adams said. He urged fans to avoid any acts of hooliganism. "Let’s all go and watch the game," he added.
Adams also called on referees to maintain professionalism during the match. The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has appointed Jacob Aduntera as the centre referee. Sulemana Salau Deen and Halilu Alhassan will serve as assistant referees, while Maxwell Owusu is the fourth official.
The Super Clash will take place at Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, May 4, at 15:00 GMT. Adams hopes for a fair and enjoyable game. He stressed that both teams and fans should prioritize sportsmanship.
