Hohoe United Football Club is confident about staying in the Ghana Premier League (GPL). They earned promotion from the Access Bank Division One Zone Three.
The team secured this promotion with a 3-1 win over Inter Allies. This victory came in the second-to-last round of games.
Kenneth Asante, the club's Public Relations Officer, spoke to fans. He assured them that Hohoe United won't be a one-season wonder. "We are not going to play in the GPL and come back," he said.
Asante emphasized the team's determination to remain in the top division. The club is implementing measures for long-term success in the GPL.
Hohoe United aims not only to maintain its spot but also to compete for top honors. Other teams are also filling GPL promotion slots. Swedru All Blacks qualified from Zone Two. The winner of Real Tamale United and Techiman Eleven Wonders will progress from Zone One.
