“I Was Gunning for 30+” – Swedru All Blacks goal machine opens up on goal-scoring ambition

Rudolf Mensah, a key striker for Swedru All Blacks, has shared his goals. He started the Access Bank Division One League aiming to score over 30 goals.

So far, he has scored 24 goals in 25 matches. This impressive tally puts him on track to be the club’s top scorer. His performance helped All Blacks reach the Ghana Premier League after 16 years.

After their recent 3-0 win over New Edubiase, Mensah spoke about his goals. “My target was to score 30 and over,” he said with a smile. He acknowledged that while he has 24 goals, it is still short of his goal.

Mensah noted that sometimes you win or lose in football. “We are still on course; let’s see what God will give us,” he added.

Fans and pundits admire Mensah's scoring ability. His movement and finishing skills make him a challenge for defenders. Despite missing his target by six goals, he feels proud of his contributions.

Looking ahead, Mensah aims to impact the Ghana Premier League next season. The return of Swedru All Blacks has excited fans in their town. With Mensah leading the team, supporters have high hopes for success in Ghana's top tier.
