'I'll never lose hope' - Kotoko’s Karim Zito refuses to give up on league title ahead of Super Clash

Asante Kotoko's head coach, Abdul Karim Zito, is determined to win the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League title. He was recently appointed after the club parted ways with Prosper Narteh Ogum.

In his first match, Coach Zito led Asante Kotoko to a 1-0 victory over Aduana Stars. This weekend, they will face Hearts of Oak in the second Super Clash of the season.

In a pre-match interview, Zito reassured fans about their title hopes. The team currently sits fourth in the league and trails leaders Bibiani Gold Stars by six points.

Zito promised to keep fighting until the season ends. He stated, “What we are more concerned about now is getting results.”

He added that while he won't guarantee a league win, they will fight for it. “Until the league ends, I will never lose hope,” he said.

The Super Clash between Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko kicks off at 3 PM on Sunday, May 4, at Accra Sports Stadium.
