Asante Kotoko's Communications Director, Sarfo Duku, has shared his concerns. He believes winning the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season is tough.
The team's chances of lifting the title have decreased. They dropped points against Bibiani GoldStars in Matchday 32. Kotoko left Bibiani with only one point. They now sit in 3rd place with 55 points. They are five points behind leaders Nations FC with two games remaining.
Duku stated, “Our title ambition is still alive but it’s very difficult.” He acknowledged that the task has become quite challenging for them. He also noted how well Nations FC is playing and expressed hope they might lose.
Asante Kotoko aims to bounce back when they host Medeama SC on Sunday. This match will take place at Baba Yara Stadium during Matchday 33. Additionally, Kotoko has a chance to win the FA Cup. They will face Golden Kick at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium on June 15, 2025.
