Arsenal legend Ian Wright wants the club to extend Thomas Partey's contract.

Partey's five-year deal ends this summer. He has been linked to clubs in Europe and the Saudi Pro League. Reports suggest Arsenal is considering whether to extend his contract.

Wright spoke in an interview about Partey’s future at the Emirates. He emphasized the midfielder's unique qualities and importance to Mikel Arteta's team. “I don’t see why we should be thinking about it,” Wright said.

He added, “There’s nothing to think about. Thomas Partey should be given another contract.” Wright noted that finding a midfielder like Partey is not easy. “We don’t have many of them in the streets,” he said.

Partey played a key role in Arsenal's win against Real Madrid in the Champions League quarterfinals. He missed Arsenal's 1-0 defeat against PSG on Tuesday at home. However, he is expected to return for the second leg on Wednesday night in Paris.
