Karela United loss disappointing and shocking – GoldStars CEO

The CEO of Bibiani GoldStars called the recent home loss to Karela United disappointing and shocking. The club is aiming for the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League title.

Reflecting on the defeat, he noted it forced the team to reassess their approach. The season is entering a critical phase.

“We had a shock loss at home against Karela. While it was disappointing, we know setbacks happen in football. This result allowed us to pause and understand what went wrong,” he said in an interview with Channel One TV.

Despite this setback, he praised the technical team led by head coach Frimpong Manso. They quickly addressed the issues revealed by the loss.

He emphasized that the club remains focused on its title ambitions. A crucial match against Asante Kotoko is coming up soon.

“Football is full of surprises, but our mission is clear: win every match ahead of us. That’s how we stay in contention for the title,” he added.
