Ghana international Kasim Nuhu Adams will leave Servette FC this month. His contract with the Swiss Super League club is ending. This marks the end of his short time in Geneva.
The 29-year-old central defender joined Servette in August 2024. He signed a short-term deal after struggling at TSG Hoffenheim in Germany. After less than a season, both sides agreed not to extend his contract.
Kasim Adams, along with Victory Beniangba and Joseph Nonge, will depart Servette FC. Their contracts or loans expire at the end of June. The club thanked them for their contributions and wished them well.
Adams made 18 appearances for Servette this season. He helped the team finish second and qualify for European football next year. While he played regularly early on, injuries and tactical changes limited his time later.
Sources say Adams is now considering offers from clubs in Belgium, Turkey, and the Middle East. He aims to revive his career ahead of Ghana’s World Cup qualifiers. A representative stated that he seeks a project where he can play regularly.
Adams has over 10 caps for the Black Stars. He was part of Ghana’s defense during the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations. However, inconsistent form has affected his national team chances recently.
With World Cup qualifiers starting in September, strong club performance could help him return to Otto Addo's plans.
