Keeping Kwame Opoku in Black Stars is coach Otto Addo’s call - Karim Zito

Asante Kotoko coach Karim Zito commented on striker Kwame Opoku. He said the decision to keep Opoku in the Black Stars is up to Ghana's coach, Otto Addo.

Opoku played in Ghana’s recent 2-1 loss to Nigeria. He was substituted after halftime for Brandon Thomas Asante. Asante scored Ghana’s only goal in that match. Nigeria won with goals from Cyriel Dessers and a Razak Simpson own goal.

Zito mentioned, "It depends on the coach." After the game, he asked questions about player availability. He was told that only certain players were used.

He added, "I haven't seen Aziz." Later, he saw Aziz get an opportunity to play. Zito explained that the coach wants to evaluate different players.

The coach gathers notes to prepare for future matches. This helps him know who to call in difficult situations.
