Kotoko coach Karim Zito reacts to Amoah and Opoku's wastefulness

Asante Kotoko's interim head coach, Abdul Karim Zito, has addressed concerns about strikers Albert Amoah and Kwame Opoku.

Zito believes the players' missed chances stem from self-centeredness, not rivalry. He noted that both players want to score and feel important. This desire can distract them from teamwork.

"Everybody wants to score to feel important," Zito explained. "That's why in Europe they value assists."

Zito assured fans that the team will improve their finishing in training. He is confident that Kotoko can still win the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League title.

He dismissed claims of bad blood between Amoah and Opoku. Zito emphasized that the issue is about self-centeredness, not rivalry. With focus and teamwork, he believes the team can achieve its goals.
