Asante Kotoko striker Albert Amoah has shared his thoughts on playing with Kwame Opoku.
Amoah made headlines by scoring the only goal in the FA Cup semifinals. This victory against Berekum Chelsea secured a spot in the final against Golden Kick.
He scored his eighth goal of the season by heading in a precise cross from Baba Yahaya.
After the game, Amoah discussed his growing chemistry with Opoku. He said, “We’ve learned to play to our strengths.”
“I always know where Kwame is during attacks,” he continued. “At first, we didn’t connect well, but now we understand each other.”
Amoah also mentioned that coaches and fans have encouraged their partnership. This support has helped them improve their teamwork.
Asante Kotoko will next focus on the Ghana Premier League. They will face Dreams FC on Sunday at Tuba Astro Turf for Matchday 31.
