Kotoko to secide Karim Zito’s future at the end of the season – Sarfo Duku

Asante Kotoko's Communications Director, Sarfo Duku, has shared future plans for Karim Zito.

Zito is a former Black Satellites coach. He became the interim trainer after the club dismissed Prosper Narteh Ogum. This decision came due to a poor run of form.

Since Zito took over, he has not lost a match. With two games left in the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season, Duku stated that the club will evaluate Zito's performance afterward.

“At the end of the season, we will assess their performance,” he said. “We will make a decision that benefits Kotoko and Ghana football," he added.

Kotoko's chances of winning the Premier League are fading. They will face Medeama SC on Sunday at Baba Yara Stadium. After that, they will finish their campaign with an away game against Vision FC.

Karim Zito hopes to win a trophy soon. Asante Kotoko will play lower-tier side Golden Kick FC in the MTN FA Cup final on June 15 at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium.
