Kwame Dwomoh Agyemang, the Communications Director of Legon Cities, spoke about a tough decision.
He discussed the dismissal of head coach Yaw Acheampong. This interview followed the appointment of Tijani Abdul Rahim as the new head coach.
Despite Acheampong's experience with clubs like Aduana Stars and Elmina Sharks, results were poor. Dwomoh stated that these results led to the decision to let him go.
“It was a hard decision,” he said. “We found ourselves in the relegation zone and needed change.”
Legon Cities is currently 17th in the 18-team Premier League table. They will face league leaders Nations FC on Friday, May 16.
