“My goal is to win the league title with Nations FC” -  Kasim Mingle declares

Nations FC head coach Kasim Ocansey Mingle has clear goals. He aims to win the title in the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season. Mingle believes his club can achieve this.

In an interview with Akoma 87.9 FM, he shared his thoughts. He compared Nations FC's ambition to his time at Bechem United. “At Bechem, we came close but didn’t aim for the league,” he said. “Here at Nations FC, they want to win, and I am ready.”

Nations FC currently leads the league standings with two games left. They are in a strong position to win the title in their debut season. However, Mingle urges caution and consistency as the race is still open.

“We will not let complacency into our team,” he stressed. “We will focus and compete until the last game.” He wants to prove they are true champions.

Mingle mentioned their game-by-game approach for upcoming matches. They face Basake Holy Stars and Heart of Lions next. “The race is still open, and we remain focused,” he said.

Under Mingle’s leadership, Nations FC has exceeded expectations this season. He believes players are mentally prepared for the pressure of being leaders. A victory in their next match could bring them closer to a historic title win for a newly promoted club.
