NSA uncertain over Hearts stay at Accra Sports Stadium

Football returned to the Accra Sports Stadium yesterday. Accra Hearts of Oak played their match day 26 game against Medeama.

However, it is unclear if they will continue using the stadium. The current conditions of the facility are a concern.

Gates leading to the Independence Square area were locked during the match.

A source from the National Sports Authority (NSA) spoke to Times Sports. They said that NSA and Hearts of Oak have not decided on future games.

The facility was recently closed for renovations. This followed clearance by CAF for a World Cup qualifier against Chad.
