Nations FC’s Rabin Ousmane Sanon has been named the Ghana Premier League Goalkeeper of the Month for April. This honor comes from the Ex-National Goalkeepers Union (NEGO). It is his first recognition since joining the league.
Sanon, a Burkinabé goalkeeper, had impressive performances in April. He helped Nations FC earn 12 points from five matches. The team won four games and drew one, finishing at the top of the Premier League table.
During this month, Sanon kept four clean sheets. Three of these were consecutive against Karela United, Legon Cities, and Accra Lions. He conceded only one goal in total during April, which was in a 1-1 draw against Young Apostles.
As part of his award, Sanon will receive several items. These include a pair of goalkeeper gloves, a branded towel, a water bottle, and a T-shirt. All items are provided by the Ex-National Goalkeepers Union.
