Oaks FC secure promotion to Women's Premier League

Oaks FC has qualified for the Women's Premier League. They won 4-1 against Rootz Sistaz in their second-to-last game of the GFA Regional Women's Championship.

The Hearts of Oak women's team leads Group A with four wins. They have played four matches in the qualification league.

Fati Ibrahim scored first with a freekick in the eighth minute. Nine minutes later, Victoria Yeboah doubled the lead from an Amanda Mills cross.

Mills then scored herself, making it 3-0 before halftime. The Oaks Ladies dominated but missed several chances in the first half.

After halftime, Rootz Sistaz improved and scored seven minutes in. However, Oaks FC quickly responded with a penalty from Esenam Sarafina.

The Phobians are comfortably at the top of their group. They have one game left and will qualify for next season's Women's Premier League in the Southern Zone.
