Prince Tagoe, Communications Director of Vision FC, dismissed claims about the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex. He stated that the astroturf is not harming the team or players' performance.
Vision FC earned promotion to the Premier League after winning the 2023-24 Division One Zone Three title. They have played their home matches at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex since then. So far, they have won seven games, drawn seven, and lost one. They scored 18 goals and conceded 10 in 15 home games. Currently, they sit in 12th place with 39 points.
Despite these statistics, some supporters are concerned about the astroturf's impact on gameplay. "There hasn't been a lot of negative feedback from players," Tagoe said in an interview with Channel One TV.
Vision FC will face Karela United in a crucial match on Sunday, May 25 at 15:00 GMT at their home ground.
