We'll announce a new sponsor for Ghana Premier soon — GFA President

Kurt Simeon-Okraku, President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), has exciting news.

He announced that a headline sponsor for the Ghana Premier League (GPL) will be revealed soon.

Okraku shared this during the launch of the KGL U-20 football competition.

He mentioned that there have been months of secret negotiations for a long-term partner.

“We’ve been working tirelessly to secure a new sponsorship agreement,” he said.

This agreement aims to bring financial stability to the GPL.

Okraku added, “Very soon, we will announce a new headline sponsor.”

This sponsor is expected to provide much-needed support to clubs.

In 2022, Betpawa ended its partnership with the GFA.

This termination caused a significant financial crisis in the league.

With only three games left in the 2024/25 season, hope is rising among stakeholders.
