“We will not allow complacency” – Nations FC boss Kassim Mingle vows relentless push for league titl

Kassim Mingle, head coach of Nations FC, is focused on the league title.

The team leads the Ghana Premier League by four points. This has sparked hope among their supporters for a first championship.

In an interview with Akoma FM, Mingle emphasized their commitment to finishing strong. He stated, “We will not allow complacency to creep into our team.” He added that they will push until the last game.

Mingle compared his current role at Nations FC to his time at Bechem United. He noted that Bechem lacked ambition for the league title. In contrast, Nations FC is determined to win it.

Since their promotion in 2023, Nations FC has impressed with their performances. They have shown tactical discipline and attacking strength under Mingle’s leadership.

With two important matches left against Basake and Heart of Lions, Mingle remains focused. He said they are treating each game with intensity and focus.

“The race is still open,” he remarked. “We’re taking it one game at a time.”

If Nations FC maintains their form, they could become champions this season. This would be an incredible achievement for a first-year club in Ghana's top tier football.
