We will not underrate Golden Kick but we will lift FA Cup title - Kotoko coach Karim Zito

Asante Kotoko's head coach, Abdul Karim Zito, is focused on winning the FA Cup. He will not underestimate their opponent, Golden Kick. The final will take place at the University of Ghana Stadium on June 15.

Zito emphasized the importance of respecting all teams. “You can’t underrate any club until you get what you want,” he said. He added that he doesn’t care about Golden Kick’s division status. “I am going there for the cup,” he stated.

He is determined to face any challenge in the final. “Whoever comes to the final, I am going to deal with it,” he said. Zito aims to ensure they win and take home the trophy.

Asante Kotoko reached the final by defeating Berekum Chelsea 1-0 in a tense semifinal match. Meanwhile, Golden Kick surprised Attram De Visser with a 3-1 victory.

Next, Asante Kotoko will play Dreams FC on Sunday. This match is part of Matchday 31 in the ongoing 2024/25 Ghana Premier League.
