We will take a decision in the best interest of Kotoko and Ghana Football - Sarfo Duku on permanent coaching appointment

Asante Kotoko's Communications Director, Samuel Sarfo Duku, spoke about Abdul Karim Zito. He hinted that the club will decide on Zito's future as head coach.

Zito was first appointed as technical director. He became the lead trainer after Dr. Prosper Ogum left.

Duku mentioned that a thorough assessment of Zito's performance will happen at season's end. "At the end of the season, we will do a proper assessment," he said. The decision will aim to benefit both Kotoko and Ghana football.

Under Zito, Kotoko has remained unbeaten in six games. They have qualified for the MTN FA Cup Finals. Currently, they trail league leaders Nations FC by five points.

Kotoko will play Golden Kick in the FA Cup Final on June 15. The match will take place at the University of Ghana Stadium. The club aims to make a decision that supports both Kotoko and Ghana football.
