"It's a big move for me"- Nations FC defender Razak Simpson poised ahead of Unity Cup in London

Nations FC defender Razak Simpson is ready for the Unity Cup.

He received an invite from the Black Stars' technical team. The tournament starts on May 27, 2025, in London.

Simpson has been a regular member of the national team. He debuted in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Angola last November.

"I thank Otto Addo and his team for this opportunity," he said. "It is a dream come true to represent my nation."

"This Unity Cup is a big move for me," he added. "I will put everything in God's hands and give my all."

Simpson is one of the few players from the Ghana Premier League selected for this trip.

He is expected to play in the opening match against Nigeria on May 28, 2025.

The tournament also includes Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago from the Caribbean.
