Asante Kotoko coach Karim Zito was disappointed after a 0-0 draw against Hearts of Oak.
His team dominated much of the game but failed to score. Zito noted, “We squandered too many chances. We should have won, but we weren’t clinical enough.” He added, “I still stand by my target of winning the league. Until it’s over, we’ll keep fighting.”
Zito emphasized Kotoko's creativity in attack. He claimed his side was better than Hearts of Oak in this aspect.
Kotoko's unbeaten run has now reached eight games. They have two wins and six draws, placing them fourth in the league standings. Despite frustrations in the title race, Zito remains optimistic about their chances.
