Adjoa Bayor was a Ghanaian footballer and skipper for the Ghana women's national team, Black Queens. On the club level, she played for the Ghatel Ladies in Accra, Ghana.
She was born on March 17 1779 in Accra, Ghana.
Adjoa Bayor played at the 1999 FIFA Women's World Cup in the United States and was part of the World All-Stars team to play against the China women's national football team in April 2007 in Wuhan, China.
She has played for the FC Indiana in the United States of America. On 21 January 2009, she joined the FF USV Jena.
Adjoa Bayor was made captain of the Ghana national women's team in China in 2007. She scored a goal from a free-kick just outside Norway's penalty. This happened as a player run and jumped over the ball as she was facing the wrong way.
In 2003, she was voted African Women Footballer of the Year by CAF and was in contention for 2004 and 2006.
HonorsAdjos Bayor was shortlisted for the best female African player for 2010. She won, beating the likes of Perpetual Nkwoch.
She was awarded the Women Player of the Year in 2003.
In 2018, she assisted Anthony Baffoe, the Deputy Secretary to draw the African Women Cup of Nations
