2024 Elections: Police retrieve fake ballot papers in Kwadaso

The Ashanti Regional Police have confiscated suspected fake ballot papers from a private residence in the Kwadaso constituency.

The seizure followed a tip-off from NDC National Organizer Joseph Yamin, who reported that thumb-printed ballot papers favoring the NPP were being transported to the region.

Yamin claimed his team located the consignment after an intense search and revealed that the seized materials matched the official ballot papers in use. He disclosed that a box contained 50 ballot booklets.

Accusing the NPP of potential rigging, Yamin questioned their confidence in "breaking the eight" amid alleged poor governance.

The police have secured the materials and launched an investigation to determine their origin and intent.
