Frank Annoh-Dompreh, MP for Nsawam Adoagyiri, has urged President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to halt the ongoing transition process until the Electoral Commission (EC) declares all parliamentary results.
Speaking on December 11, Annoh-Dompreh highlighted unresolved disputes, including in his constituency, and criticized the NDC for alleged misconduct. He called for a secure platform for the EC to finalize and announce results.
“The president-elect, John Dramani Mahama, must also ensure fairness and speak to his supporters. All seats must be duly declared before the transition proceeds,” he stated.
Annoh-Dompreh also denied involvement in a shooting incident at the Nsawam Adoagyiri collation center, urging police to investigate the claims made by the NDC’s Eastern Regional Chairman.
