A staff member of the Builsa South District Assembly, Saeed Mohammed, is receiving medical care following an alleged assault involving District Chief Executive Daniel Kwame Gariba, who is also the NPP parliamentary candidate for the constituency.

According to a police medical report, Mohammed suffered severe headaches, nosebleeds, neck pain, lip lacerations, and brain trauma after the altercation at the District Assembly.

The victim claims he was struck on the forehead and repeatedly assaulted during the incident, which reportedly stemmed from a misunderstanding.

The case has been referred to the police for further investigation, as concerns grow over the escalating tension in the area.
