President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has assured Ghanaians of a smooth transition after his tenure, emphasizing respect for the nation’s democratic processes.
Speaking at the commissioning of Cadet Course 61 at the Ghana Military Academy (GMA), he reaffirmed his commitment to safeguarding peace and stability, declaring the right to free and fair elections as non-negotiable.
The event saw 73 cadet officers commissioned into the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) following intensive training.
Akufo-Addo lauded their dedication and highlighted government efforts to retool the military and enhance healthcare services.
Outstanding cadets, including Junior Under Officer Yaro Mohammed-Keilan, were recognized for excellence in leadership, tactics, and overall performance.
The cadets showcased diverse academic expertise, contributing to their robust military preparation.
