Ballot papers seen with Yamin aren’t official EC ballot papers – Miracles Aboagye

Dennis Miracles Aboagye, Director of Communications for the Bawumia 2024 Campaign, has dismissed allegations by the NDC’s National Organizer, Joseph Yamin, accusing the New Patriotic Party (NPP) of printing 500,000 unauthorized ballot papers for electoral malpractice in the Ashanti Region.

Speaking on Joy FM’s Newsfile on December 14, Aboagye refuted the claims, describing them as baseless and intended to create unnecessary tension.

He emphasized that the Electoral Commission (EC) exclusively handles ballot paper production, ensuring a secure and transparent process.

“These allegations lack merit. The EC has stringent measures in place, leaving no room for such manipulations,” he stated, urging the public to disregard what he called a desperate attempt to discredit the ruling party.

Aboagye stressed the need to protect the credibility of Ghana’s democratic institutions through facts and evidence, not baseless accusations.
