Dr. Joseph Whittal, Commissioner of the Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ), announced that 300 personnel will be deployed to polling centers nationwide to monitor the integrity of the December 7 elections.
These officers will use a checklist to ensure transparency and fairness during the voting process.
Dr. Whittal also stressed the importance of inclusivity, urging election officials to prioritize persons with disabilities to ensure their full participation.
Additionally, he criticized Lydia Alhassan, MP for Ayawaso West Wuogon, for distributing food during the special voting, calling it inappropriate and a potential integrity issue in the electoral process.
