Convoy of Mahama’s running mate Jane Naana attacked

A vehicle in the convoy of NDC vice-presidential candidate, Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, was attacked on November 29 between Akuse and Kpong.

The incident allegedly involved a Police outrider leading a convoy of NPP supporters.

The driver of the affected vehicle reported that the outrider threw an object, smashing the windscreen. He suspects the other convoy belonged to the NPP.

The attack occurred as Professor Opoku-Agyemang’s team returned from a two-day campaign tour in the Oti Region.

Despite the damage, no injuries were reported.

This incident highlights growing tensions as the December 7 elections approach. Authorities are yet to comment on the matter.
