The Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) has stationed election volunteers in all 276 constituencies to monitor the December 7 elections and collect results.
Results will be displayed at the Ghana International Press Centre for public and media access.
A seven-member team will oversee election monitoring and compile a detailed report. The GJA urged journalists to remain neutral, bold, and vigilant while prioritizing peace and professionalism in their work.
It called on media managers to adequately support journalists to maintain their independence and urged the police to protect media personnel during the elections.
With over 9,000 accredited journalists, including 100 foreigners, the GJA reaffirmed its commitment to promoting transparency and safeguarding democracy during the elections.
