EC identifies ballot paper shortfalls in Volta Region, plans immediate reprinting

The Electoral Commission (EC) has identified shortages in ballot papers for five constituencies in the Volta Region: Keta, Ketu North, Hohoe, Ho Central, and Ho West.

To address the issue, the EC has engaged Acts Commercials to print the additional ballot papers.

Political parties and independent candidates have been invited to observe the process by sending two agents each.

The reprinting exercise is scheduled for Friday, November 29, 2024, at 10:00 a.m.

In a letter signed by Deputy Chairman Samuel Tettey, the EC reaffirmed its commitment to transparency and accountability, urging all stakeholders to actively oversee the reprinting process.
