EC to declare 2024 presidential results at 4:30 pm

The Electoral Commission (EC) of Ghana has announced that the results of the 2024 general elections will be declared today, December 9, at 4:30 PM.

The declaration will be broadcast live, and the public is encouraged to tune in.

During a press briefing in Accra, Deputy EC Commissioner Samuel Tettey urged political party supporters to avoid gathering at the National Collation Centre, describing such actions as illegal and unnecessary.

He emphasized that only individuals with proper accreditation are permitted at the center and called on all parties and supporters to remain calm and patient as the final results are processed.

Tettey assured the public that the live broadcast provides a transparent way for everyone to follow the announcement.
