Tensions flared at the Mampong Infantry Jnr Primary School polling station in the Ashanti Region after National Democratic Congress (NDC) polling agents protested broken seals on voting materials.
The seals, meant to be opened in the presence of party representatives, were found tampered with, prompting complaints from the NDC agents.
An Election Officer intervened to resolve the issue, calming the situation and preventing delays.
The polling station, located at St. Monica's, has 617 registered voters. Voting proceeded after the intervention, ensuring the process remained on track despite initial disruptions.
