Nana Ohene Ntow, Senior Advisor to Alan Kyerematen and the Movement for Change, has commended Ghanaians for rejecting the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the recent elections, warning that another term under the party would have worsened the nation’s struggles.
Speaking on TV3, he blamed the NPP’s defeat on corruption, economic mismanagement, worsening hardships, and the destructive impact of illegal mining.
Ntow stated that the election results, which saw John Dramani Mahama of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) win with 56.55% of votes, reflected widespread frustration with the NPP government.
He described the outcome as a vital step toward restoring accountability and change, urging Ghanaians to demand better leadership to rebuild hope and address the nation’s challenges.
