Election 2024: God will Judge our actions – Jean Mensa tells EC Officials

Jean Mensa, the Chairperson of the Electoral Commission (EC), has called on electoral officials to maintain integrity and professionalism during the upcoming elections.

Speaking on December 5, Mensa emphasized that the role of officials is to ensure a fair and transparent election, not to influence outcomes.

She urged them to follow EC guidelines, such as wearing gloves when counting votes and posting Pink Sheets at polling stations.

Mensa highlighted the critical role of Presiding Officers in determining the election’s outcome, stressing that their work must be done with accuracy, transparency, and integrity.

She concluded by reminding officials that they are accountable to both the public and to God for their actions.
